Technical Office Engineer urgently needed in a well known Woodwork & Furniture Manufacturing Company located in October , you'll be responsible for; Pricing for wooden works such as ( doors ,cladding ,furniture …etc Accurately calculating the cost of projects required to be manufactured ensures the quality of their manufacturing Communicate with the purchasing manager to update and archive the cost of all inputs. Full knowledge of all industry inputs in a way that enables him to calculate the raw materials for any product Familiarity with a reasonable amount of industry techniques in a way that enables him to calculate product manufactures The ability to communicate with department heads in case of a technical question in the pricing process. Produce detailed shop drawings and specify the nature, quantity, and quality of materials required and select suitable materials (wood, metal, accessories, paint, textiles, fabrics, etc. ) Produce cutting lists needed for furniture and woodwork production. Work closely with other related departments (production, design, procurement, sales, finance, operations, etc. ) Prepare the orders forms and send them to the technical teams. Send all of the order documents to all of the concerned departments. Ensure high quality, innovative, functional production solutions and ensure the proper conversion of the design into processes and steps. Job Requirements Bachelor of Applied Arts or equivalent 3-5 yrs of experience in similar role Portfolio of previous work Previous experience in wood factories and affiliated furniture companies
