Description
Technical responsibilities
1. Follow up and analyze the stages and steps of production processes for the production line and service equipment and discuss them with the direct manager to identify development opportunities for production rates while maintaining and developing quality standards for the products.
2. Develop detailed plans and steps to implement development goals for production operations in line with the goals agreed upon with the direct manager.
3. Implementing production plans in accordance with the required and specified specifications according to the specifications and experiences of raw materials, and participating with the production manager in amending them - in the event of a need for amendment - in a way that is consistent with the optimal operational processes appropriate to the specifications of the different raw materials.
4. Implementing systems for addressing and recording production problems in the department, working to solve them, and submitting the problems that it is unable to solve to the production manager.
5. Maintaining production cost standards, and following up on compliance with them at all stages of production with the work team.
6. Participation of the production manager in reviewing production efficiency processes to work with all possible capabilities to reduce waste and reduce the cost of the product to the lowest possible extent.
7. Review the periodic and non-periodic preventive maintenance system for the production line and service equipment for operation, follow up on its implementation, follow up on the repair of unexpected malfunctions, identify and address the operating processes that cause these malfunctions, and ensure that the line is stopped for the shortest possible period.
8. Implementing the department’s occupational safety and health plans and following up on the work team’s commitment to safety behaviors to ensure that any injuries are prevented throughout operating hours.
9. Adherence to ISO work procedures in all management departments.
10. Create files for all data and reports to help review and analyze them to support decision-making in the department.
Administrative and supervisory responsibilities
11. Participate in studying, analyzing, and determining the optimal numbers of its employees to ensure increased productivity and optimal use of human resources.
12. Distributing work to subordinates to ensure the achievement of goals according to specific plans
13. Participate in monitoring and evaluating the performance of subordinates and providing the necessary directions, guidance and advice to correct deviations, develop performance levels and raise the morale of distinguished employees.
14. Participate in identifying the training needs of subordinates.
15. Follow up on subordinates’ adherence to the company’s systems, policies, behaviors and values and take the necessary measures to ensure this.
16. Carrying out other tasks assigned to him related to the job objectives and areas of work.
