The Bose Lifestyle 135 soundbar has five drivers, with the two at either end married to a phase guide similar as to one used in the VideoWave allowing sound to be pushed out and directed around the room

TrueSpace
This is technology built into the system that simulates surround sound from stereo or surround sound sources.
FlexMount
Flexmount automatically determines if the soundbar is placed on a table or mounted on a wall. It then adjusts the audio accordingly, thus offering two choices for speaker placement.

AV35 Control Console and Remote
The system has four HDMI 1.4a, two component and three composite inputs. There is one HDMI 1.4a video output that scales input video up to 1080p output resolution. It supports three non-HDMI audio inputs: optical, coax and RCA. It has two USB jacks for firmware updates, to view pictures, or to support the SoundTouch adapter.
The system includes a port for an option iPod dock that is compatible with all 30 pin iPods/iPhones.
The 3 RCA inputs above the HDMI inputs aloing with the Boselink out port are all non-functional as they were initially there to support BoseLink expansion, now replaced by SoundTouch.
